Change your Drive Background

Sometimes we feel boredom when color, background, wallpaper, theme etc. have not been changed from time to time. Human psychology says that human love Variety.

To change your folder or Pen drive background or text color follow the steps:

1. First go to Start menu – All Programs – Accessories – Notepad or press Win+R and type notepad.

2. Then, Paste the following code in notepad.

IconArea_Image=background.jpg
IconArea_Text=0xFFFFFF

[N.B. – You can change icon area text color by changing the value. E.g-0xCC0099 = violet; 0x9900FF = Pink; 0x000000 = black; 0xFF3300 = Blue; 0x33CC00 = Green etc.]

3. Now save the file as desktop.ini

4. Open the drive or pendrive where you wish to change background.

5. Create a new folder in the drive or pendrive and rename it as ‘background’.

6. Rename the background image as ‘background’.

7. Now copy the folder, background image and desktop.ini file into the drive or pendrive.

8. Mark as ‘read only, hidden’ at the copied folder, image and .ini file by clicking on properties.

9. At last refresh or reopen the drive or pendrive.

Now Enjoy the change.
